Welcome to Purposeful Prevention. My name is Carol Wilson, I am a woman on a mission helping others reduce their health risks by pursuing purposeful prevention. What does that mean exactly? It means approaching your health and wellness from a holistic point of view and incorporating the Lord every step of the way.
My coaching focuses on building a solid foundation in mind, body and spirit. This provides an individual the tools and skills to navigate the day with confidence.
Where’s your head at?
Mindset plays a huge role in your overall health and wellbeing. If your head isn’t in the game you are missing out on living the fullest life you were destined to live by God. We were given a mind like Christ and it’s our job to be sure we are nurturing and developing our minds for His glory.
It’s important to move the body daily. Exercise should not be a chore but an adventure. Walking, hiking, biking, yoga, paddle boarding, skiing, etc are all ways to honor the Lord with your body in movement. And if you can do it outside in His glorious creation even better.
